UPDATE! We made it! After leaving Bracknell at 7pm on Thursday 31st March we set out on the mammoth 14hr journey with Jon being as economical as humanly possible.
Jon managed to get 74.9mpg out of the little Cooper D and he was running on empty (Range showing ---) 13 miles from the end! We arrived at 10:45am, having driven through the night and travelled 679 miles.
